Laura + Josh are rad. There is no other way to say it. You may remember them from their engagement session and family session with their son, Johnny. But it wasn’t until their wedding that I really understood the depth of their connection. Every wedding I’ve ever attended is buzzing with a kind of nervous energy… every wedding but Josh + Laura’s. Instead, it was like attending a family get-together. It was comfortable and homey, like a favorite pair of jeans. The shared history of family and friends and a fierce love for each other and their son was a blessing to be a part of. Plus, Laura made Josh the coolest groom ever when she gifted him with a record player. Vinyl is still the superior means of listening to music.

I was so honored to be the photographer at Sarah + Eric’s wedding today. I am a better person after getting to know them and their families. Sarah + Eric leave for their honeymoon tomorrow, so I had to get these up ASAP in order to send them off with a few of my favorite images.

From the first time I met Mickey + Michelle, I knew their marriage wasn’t an ‘if,’ but a ‘when.’ They are one of those couples who fit so perfectly together that you can’t imagine a time when they were ever apart. Their wedding was a day when their family and friends were finally able to come together and celebrate the love that had been growing since the first time their worlds collided.

The morning of their wedding, I was absolutely giddy. Not only was I going to be spending my time with an amazing couple, but since they are both close friends of my family, I was also going to be photographing my brother, his wife and their children as members of the bridal party!

The ceremony was at Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach, where the bride and groom met. The reception was at The Island Palms Hotel & Marina in San Diego. And of course, second shooting with me was the always-fabulous, Helene Cornell.

Ohio Wedding Photographer // Keri + Oren

On a blustery day last March, I endured many travel snafus, plane delays, and cold weather to get to Keri + Oren’s wedding in Columbus, OH. I had been waiting for that weekend for so long that I could hardly believe it was finally time to take the trip halfway across the US. The wedding was especially dear to me as I had known Keri for 10+ years. And when she introduced Oren to me, I knew she had met her match. On March 14th, I arrived at the Franklin Conservatory, in awe of the backdrop for this most special of occasions. At that instant I knew… these people knew how to throw party.

Keri + Oren, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding. I knew it was going to be an amazing reflection of who you are as a couple… it was warm and elegant and full of love. Congratulations to you both!
