Just a sweet peek from Keri + Oren’s gorgeous wedding at the Franklin Park Conservatory…
I traveled to Columbus, OH for a wedding last weekend. While I usually love traveling and spending time in new places, this trip seemed ill-fated from the beginning. After several delays, losing an ipod, and switching flights last minute, I made a last-ditch effort to turn my mood around and pulled my camera out to document a bit of the infamous O’Hare Airport.
I always find the holiday season the most difficult time of the year to get things done. On top of the regular grind of day to day life, there is the added stress of finding the perfect gifts, making the perfect meals, and hosting the perfect parties. The stress of it always makes me want to move to some remote island until January. This season, I’m attempting to change and get back into the holiday spirit of things. So, as I wind down on the sessions and get photos processed for Christmas cards and gifts, blogging may be a little light. I’ll get back into the swing of things as soon as life settles down a bit.
In the meantime, here’s a little something that I think back on when I need to take a chill pill…

… aaaahhh. Works every time.
Waiting on a new friend to join me for coffee in La Jolla…

Tasha, thank you so much for a lovely afternoon. For running a bit late and forcing me to slow down and rediscover one of my favorite spaces. For conversation and mexican mocha near the sea. And for just being an all-around lovely person. I can’t wait to see you in your orange coat!

She doesn’t fall asleep in the car. She laughs at all my jokes. She tells me I’m bee-yootiful. She goes along with my wild goose chase to find a Starbucks. And she buys me breakfast when all I have is change. What more could I ask for in a road trip buddy?
Along the way…

She also is willing to stop on the side of the road on a very narrow shoulder, on a very windy morning, so I can take pictures of her.

We had another photoshoot, Vegas-style, all polished and ready to go out on the town. But these ones blew me away (whoops… no pun intended).
You are gorgeous, Steve.
