From the first time I met Mickey + Michelle, I knew their marriage wasn’t an ‘if,’ but a ‘when.’ They are one of those couples who fit so perfectly together that you can’t imagine a time when they were ever apart. Their wedding was a day when their family and friends were finally able to come together and celebrate the love that had been growing since the first time their worlds collided.
The morning of their wedding, I was absolutely giddy. Not only was I going to be spending my time with an amazing couple, but since they are both close friends of my family, I was also going to be photographing my brother, his wife and their children as members of the bridal party!
The ceremony was at Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach, where the bride and groom met. The reception was at The Island Palms Hotel & Marina in San Diego. And of course, second shooting with me was the always-fabulous, Helene Cornell.
