2008… I loved you. We were great together. Yes, there were some things I would change, but all in all, you taught me a lot. You taught me that just because I set a bunch of goals at the beginning of the year, they won’t be achieved over night. Sometimes, they take a while… even more than one year. If there was anything I took away from you, 2008, it’s that patience is a virtue worth having.
To all my clients and friends (who are at this point, one and the same)… thank you. Thank you for believing in me… trusting me… and putting my name out there. Thank you for hanging our photos on your walls. For ordering Christmas prints for the grandmothers. For booking a maternity session, a newborn session, and a first year session. For letting me be a part of your family. For inviting me over for dinner. For making me laugh and sharing ideas and for being a part of this crazy, wonderful ride I’m on.
I just wanted to share a few of the awesome memories that have been caught on camera over the past year… 2008 – you were awesome…
… but 2009? I think you’re going to blow last year out of the water.
